What I Did This Week, Visually Of Course…

Who Said What?

This is the “Who Said What” assignment from the DS106 Visual Assignment Bank. This was worth three stars.

This one was super interesting…I used three of my favorite movie characters to create this image with Adobe Illustrator. The picture is of the most recent 007 (James Bond). This is not from a movie, it is instead from an awards show in which he was honored for his role in the movie Skyfall. The quote, is from Jason Borne. I remember hearing this and thinking, that sounds like something Bond might say to a long time adversary (if there ever was one). Then the person who I gave credit to was Kiefer Sutherland, who plays another one of my favorite characters in the TV show, 24. I think that it might be easy to convince people that James Bond said the quote in the image, but it might be an easy tell by claiming the person is Jack Bauer.

Places of Peace

This is the “Places Of Peace” assignment from the DS106 Visual Assignment Bank. This was worth two stars.

For this assignment, I was tasked with presenting some of the places where I feel peace. Since I am not at home I had to get a little creative with how I represented these places. I used an app called BeFunky, and used the free stock images. I am currently at the beach, and so I would definitely say that I relax and have peace here! I have my hammock where I read on a daily basis, the books come from my wall sized book shelf in the basement (which I represented in the image to the right). Finally, my bed is a great place where I can just let go of all the stress that life has to offer!

That’s Not What I Expected

This is the “That’s Not What I Expected” assignment from the DS106 Visual Assignment Bank. This was worth three stars.

What is this???

Comment down bellow what you think this might be! It took me a while to make this tricky, but I didn’t want to make it too hard. I will reveal what It is when I see a correct answer in the comments section!

Your Very Own Spubble

This is the “Your Very Own Spubble” assignment from the DS106 Visual Assignment Bank. This was worth two stars.

This image was from a while ago, when I worked at a summer camp. I believe that one of the kids in my group asked me for something, which caused me to make this face. Not sure what they wanted in that moment, but it clearly wasn’t good. I changed it up a little to make it more universal, something we all wish we could just blurt out sometimes.
